Cottage, exquisitely made by Frodingham Dollshouses in traditional
Yorkshire Dales style.
The
house is on it’s own fixed base, with realistic flagstone effect,
steps and Victorian working street lamp. The house has a light
covering of realistic snow. The front door has a non-fixed stone
effect porch and shelf.
This
house is truly 3D with traditional stone effect to all sides, as well
as windows. The roof has hardwood tiles with a light covering of snow
too. There are two working brass coach lamps on the exterior. The
interior is accessed by Frodingham’s unique system of sliding
concealed panels.
All
doors, windows and window boxes are handmade with hard wood.
The stairs in the hallway are old fashioned cottage style with landing
balustrade.
Four
fire places with mantles and surrounds are fitted. The house comes
complete with a built in high quality kitchen range fitted in the
kitchen fireplace, and three high quality fires.
There
are 7 rooms in the house. 6 rooms are decorated in true cottage style,
and have ceiling, wall beams and skirting as appropriate. All 6 are
fully lit.One bedroom
remains to be decorated and lit, although it has been wired. Three
rooms have real floor tiles and the rest have real wooden flooring.
Polished, waxed hardwood floor boards are laid in the bedrooms and

House Beds for sale.
"Sweetdream Beds " are all
hand dressed by myself for the 1/12th scale dolls house and I
have recently finished two beautiful Canopy Beds in need of
a good home !
BED ONE : The first bed is in dark wood
dressed with vintage lace and silk. The bed has a hand made
mattress over which is laid a coverlet in cream silk edged with lace.
Beneath this is a box pleated skirt of deep blue silk and cream
coloured vintage lace, which is repeated around the canopy, richly
trimmed with a cream braid. A cream silk roll neck pillow and
two little floral cushions in deep pink and blue edged with braid
complete the look. This bed is dressed true to period and would
look wonderful in either a Georgian or Victorian setting.
All the bed linen is removable.
BED TWO: The second bed is a truly
feminine piece. The bed itself is in white wood with
a rose motif in pink and green on the head board. Frothy white
lace spills out from under the floral cotton coverlet in shades of
rose, green and blue and more lace falls from the white
satin canopy top. The bed posts are trimmed with little white ribbons. There
are two pillows with removable pillow slips trimmed with lace and pale
blue ribbon to match the cotton top sheet. Finally, a darling
little cushion and a neck roll edged with tiny braiding complete the
look. All the bed linen is removable.

Dolls House for Sale. I have a lovely Edwardian Dolls House from
my childhood which was purchased for me from an auction - built in the
20's or 30's. It's black and white, double fronted has it's own stand,
opens back and front and has entrance hall, stair case (with cupboard)
underneath, lounge, dining room, reception room and large kitchen with
Belfast sink, bathroom with turnable taps and flushing (no water) loo
! Also, leaded effect stained glass windows, a lighting system but
needs battery, fireplace in each room. Fully furnished (but 70's
furniture worth £100.00) Needs just a little TLC, but is truly a
gem and gave me lots of pleasure as a child. Stands about 4 foot
high with stand and is about 2 and a half foot wide.

Large
Edwardian style dolls house, 12 rooms plus 2 attics,105cm W x 80cm
D x 100cm H, sitting on a metal stand with casters, which is 60cm high.
The house is hand made and the construction is complete. Externally the
entire building and roof have been painted, including an intricate brick
design over the ground floor level. Internally all main rooms have fire
places, and wooden window pellets but the central staircase is still
without its hand rail and banister etc (although all the wooden pieces
required to finish this, are included in the sale price)
I acquired this item several years ago in a sad state, having been sawn
in half, fortunately as the whole of the roof removes, this remained
intact. I have had the building reassembled and had aspirations of
completing the whole refurbishment, but lack of skill and patients has
resulted in this beautiful house remaining an unfinished project.
The sale includes well over 100 pieces of furniture and numerous
ornaments, mirrors, pictures etc. There are curtains on wooden poles for
all the windows, several rolls of wallpaper including a book of
authentic designs by Municie Hendler.
Because of its dimensions this piece would need to be collected by
buyer, therefore please note my location is South Norfolk. For further

Victorian
Dolls House by Squirrel
This beautiful 1/12 scale house by
Squirrel is built as a town house of around 1870.Externally
finished in a rough-textured dove grey, the roof has individual
card slates, finished with tape "leading". The windows
are all fully working sashes and glazed with acrylic, backed with white
card so that the window frames appear on the reverse of the windows
instead of the usual shiny flat surface. There are 6 beautiful deep
bay windows fully decorated to match their room and have oak
floorboards.
At the front is a pavement and
wrought iron railing-type fence with steps leading up to the front door
and down to a spacious kitchen yard from which a partially glazed door
leads into a 3 roomed basement.This pulls away as a unit to reveal
basement room, white-washed ; the light fittings for it are
included. The front door leads into a hallway from which rise
bannistered oak, carpeted dog-leg stairs leading to a carpeted landing
and then another uncarpeted oak bannistered stair leads to the attic
rooms, full sized but with sloping ceilings and sash dormer windows.
The rooms on the ground floor compromise
a dining room,hallway and study, fully decorated and lit with glowing
fireplaces. All the rooms except the basement have oak skirting,
picture rails, cornicing and ceiling roses, the latter two white.All
rooms also have oak floorboards, the main part of which can be lifted to
access all the electrical wiring.All the doors are stained oak and have
individual porcelain finger plates and brass handles. The study, hall
and dining-room have oak dado rails with brown embossed paper below, the
first floor bedroom and parlour have no dado and William Morris papers.
On the first floor french windows lead
onto a balcony with "wrought-iron"rail and two pots of roses.
There are also french windows out of the dining room where I planned to
build a garden and conservatory. The conservatory kit is available.
There are 5 dolls,4 dressed-2 men and 2 women(one a cook). the unressed
doll is a woman with dark ringlets.
The sale includes many items of furniture
and accessories and a transformer which will take 30 lights. I am
selling the house because I really don't have the time to give to it and
want it to be completed while it is still fresh and lovely. It was a
very expensive kit(£900) and I have spent a lot on lighting and
detailed decoration. I am aiming to recoup what I spent on
materials, but there is no mark-up for labour. All who see the
house love it. I have included a list of measurements below. The price

Doll's House. In our family since 1953. Scale approx. 1:12 (front
door = 6.75 inches). Height 30in to chimney pots (22in to eaves) x W
30in x D 16in. Very solid construction, craftsman-built. Double-fronted
with box-bay glass windows and window-boxes, with open porch to front
door, twin V-pitched roofs. Central staircase, hall and landing. Four
rooms (three rooms plus kitchen) all with chimney breast and fitted
fireplace (to chimneys); fitted skirting boards and picture rails; door
to each room. Brass door handles. Kitchen has fitted Welsh dresser &
fitted butler's sink and drainer, dado rails. Lift-off front. In good,
solid order but scope for personal re-decoration and smartening - some
TLC useful.
Also large number of pieces of furniture and accessories, from
1950/60/70s, plus some Victorian era - well over 100 items, incl Grecon

Emporium which I believe has now been discontinued from their
Catalogue.It is decorated and wired .It includes the furniture
and people but is not fully complete in the furnishing so plenty of
room for more bits and bobs.As new never played with by
children.

My
wife had a Home Doll's House it was unfortunately discarded during
clearance of the parental home and I am desperate to replace it if
possible.

THE
GEORGIAN
The
Georgian is a beautifully made house of Birch Ply. The front and inside
internal doors, are finishied in cream with all architectural features
pulled out in walnut. A handcrafted front door with arched window
feature is surrounded by five Georgian paned windows, which have a
sturdy acetate ‘glass’ sheet inserted. Internal the Georgian has
five handcrafted doors, (all with knobs), and two spindle staircases
leading to the attic. Three dormer windows finish of a red slate roof
with two chimney stacks. The roof is hinged to open upwards and has a
build in support to hold it open for easy access.
Overall
dimensions:- Height 30 ¾”. Width 33 ¾”. Depth 14”. (Width of
Ground and First Floor.) Left room 12”. Hallway 6”. Right room 13 ½”.
The
attic has a pitched roof and a small interior room in the hallway.
The
buyer must collect the house from Rossendale, Lancashire.
The
Elizabethan is a finely detailed character house which takes up little
space, made of birch ply. This house is a show piece with its decorative
hinges, and stucco finish on all sides, three of which have traditional
Tudor beams. There is a large curved bay window with 12 panes, and a
handcrafted front door. Leaded windows are centered on the top two
floors, all with walnut trim. The roof is red tiled and has a chimney
stack. Inside the house has a walnut staircase running up the right
wall, finishing in the room above.
Overall
dimensions: - Height 28” + 1 ¾” chimney. Width 12 ¾” Depth 11 ¼”,
with bay 12 ½”. Depth of all interior rooms 9 ½”. Width 11 ¾”.
Attic has two sided pitched roof.
All
rooms are fully decorated and fully furnished with accessories.
The
buyer must collect the house from Rossendale, Lancashire.
