March 09 Cutler House, a Georgian period house set in mid Victorian times would have been a familiar sight in London or Bath around the 1870's. Our house located in Beth Street in the smart district of Westminster, London is the residence of the Mulberry family. Built over four floors, including the kitchen and servants quarter located below stairs, the house is an impressive lodging for our Victorian family.

The dolls house built and furnished over a three year span has tried to accurately recreate the decor and layout of the interior of the period. Please come and meet the family and have a look around, you may be surprised at what you find.

Art Deco House By Jazz

I have had all the furniture made for the house.   But I did do all the soft furnishings myself.

Bedroom - I did the bed cover, curtains, carpet and cushions.

Just installed the kitchen - made by Elf Kitchens.  Oh, the dog was from my childhood dolls house - long since defunct!

“One off” Art Deco bathroom with unique hand painted tiles.  Made to my specification form art deco photographs

Back door entrance

Nursery

One of my favourite rooms - the study.  Set for “Tea for Two”!

The last picture of the dining table set for breakfast is one of my personal favourites!

Cobweb corner consists of "Cobweb Cottage," which is a much converted kit,
using reclaimed brick and slate on the exterior.  Most of the interior being
"scratch " built.  "Cobweb Corner Post Office and General Store," is
completely scratch built, and the vast majority of it's contents are hand
made.Thank you for the opportunity to show my work.

This "Tudor" dolls house is my first of I hope many, it is a " Hall House"  in that there is a central hall, with a ground and a first floor room either side of the hall, withopening doors to all rooms. Three rooms in the roof, access is by lifting off the front of the roof.

It is lit with some 20 candle style lights.

Biult as an hierloom for our grand children.

Denmark

Hello, Denmark calling.

A couple of years ago, I bought a small box with Fimo clay after reading an article in a hobby magazine. I made a few miniatures for my daughters dollhouse and was quite happy with the results, but I didn't do more about it.
Now I want to make her a new dollhouse and thought I might get some ideas surfing the net. I was amazed at the number of sites dedicated to the world of miniatures, including your site. I am actually a silversmith, but seeing all the different sites, I have decided to take up this wonderful hobby again and make some more.
I have attached two pictures of my miniature work for you to see.
Thank you for opening my eyes for this small world again. I will certainly be visiting your site again in the future.

dear friends,
please visit and feel at home in annie's house, while this is not finished yet, we have started to build and furnish "The manor tea rooms" where you can see how we get on with it. most of the furniture has been hand built, which is a slow process, but a rewarding one. so please visit us and feel free to sign the guestbook, or email your comments, or ask advice.
many thanks
